Process
- Submit the request through the e-services system, enter the details of the property and upload the required documents, do the self-classification (optional)
- Document verification and approval
- Pay the classification fees through the electronic system
- Visit to classify the unit
- Pay the fees in the e-services system
- Issuance the electronic permit, which must be printed and placed in a visible place in the Holiday Home
Service Required Documents
- No objection certificate issued by the unit owner (if the type of registration is authorized tenant)
- (In the case of a residential unit, villa, residential complex or (townhouse) that falls within the scope of real estate development areas) No objection certificate issued by the developer or management company
- A document containing the electricity and water account number as appropriate.
- Title deed of the real estate unit (owner)
- Tenancy Contract (Leased)

Fees
- Registration in the Register of Holiday Homes for the first year 50 AED
- Issuing an initial approval to practice the activity of holiday homes 50 AED
- Issuing a one-year holiday home permit for each room 300
- Issuing a permit for one-room vacation homes for a period of one year 300 AED
- Issuing a permit for two-room vacation homes for a period of one year 600AED
- Issuing a permit for three-room vacation homes for a period of one year 900AED
- Issuing a permit for holiday homes with four or more rooms for a period of one year 1200AED
- Issuing a certificate and classification board for holiday homes (luxury/standard) 100 dirhams

Terms And Conditions
- The applicant must ensure that all specifications and conditions are met before applying for a permit.
- The individual operator has the right to apply for only 5 permits only at one time. If the individual wishes to manage additional units, the individual must obtain a license from the hotel company to practice the activity of renting holiday homes or hand over his additional units to companies licensed to operate the holiday home activity.
- The permit period for holiday home units shall be one year, renewable for similar periods, and the Department may, at the request of the operator, approve the granting of the permit for a period exceeding one year and a maximum of four (4) years.
- If the permit is not renewed upon its expiry, the department will take the actions to close the holiday home.
