Terms And Conditions

If the owner of the hotel establishment, or his legal representative, wishes to close his hotel establishment, for a temporary period, to make any additions to it, or to carry out any maintenance and/or essential decoration works in it, whether with the aim of raising its classification to a higher category or to improve it in general, he must He has to submit an application to the Licensing Department at the Department, in which he explains, in particular, the details of the required additions, maintenance and/or decoration works, the reasonable time period for their implementation, and the start and end dates of that period. The Director General shall decide on that application based on a recommendation from the Licensing Department in the Department within a maximum period of three (3) weeks from the date of receiving the application. The Director General may stipulate, for the department’s approval, that the applicant fulfills any conditions or requirements, as he may deem appropriate.
