Will I be able to submit any requests through the e-service portal, while the tourism license is still expired?
No, the system will automatically block any incoming service requests, until the license has been renewed.
How will I be able to obtain classification certificate after having renewed the tourism license?
After completion of all final license payments, including classification certificate fees, the final certificate will be issued and delivered to the establishment.
What are the card payment methods accepted online, through our e-service portal?
E-Dirham, Visa & Master Cards are accepted online.
What are the available languages through our e-service portal?
Both Arabic and English are available.
Will the required documents, in order to obtain a license, be featured online?
Yes. The online request form will showcase a list of all mandatory documents that are required to be uploaded. Once all documents are uploaded, the request can be submitted.
How do I create an online e-services account and obtain a username and password?
How do I create an online e-services account and obtain a username and password? A link is accessible through the e-service main page, leading to the registration page ( X Y Z ). Each user is required to fill in the requested information and submit the form online. Once the request is approved, the registered user will receive an e-mail, containing the login credentials.
Are service fees for each request displayed in the e-service portal?
Yes. All fees required to obtain a license and/or services are displayed online, when requesting for the same.
Will I be able to submit requests in person, directly through the department office?
No, all requests require to be submitted through the e-services portal.
How should I handle a change in establishment data?
Establishments are not permitted to change any data, such as the owner’s name, manager name, address, etc… without applying for the same through the “Modification Request”. Any change in data is considered a breach and will result in imposed fines.
What is the validity period for classification report?
Classification reports are only valid for 3 months, from the date of issuance. After the period has passed, a new request needs to be requested through the online e-service portal.
What is the validity period for initial approval given to hotel establishments and what is it’s fees?
Initial approval is valid for 3 months and has no fees.
What is the validity period for the initial approval letter to build\transform a building for a hotel establishment and what is it’s fees?
The letter is valid for 2 years from date of fees payment, and the fees are 500 AED.
